Yes. We appraise and buy gold, jewellery and gold coins at fair, up-to-date prices – in person and unhurried, here at the shop.
Which gold alloys do you offer?
We carry jewellery in 585 (14 carat) and 916 (22 carat) gold. We are happy to make or order other alloys on request.
Do you make bespoke jewellery?
Yes. We create individual pieces to your wishes – from wedding rings to complete sets, also in special alloys if desired.
Do you have Çeyrek, Yarım and Tam Altın?
Yes. Turkish gold coins (quarter, half and full) are available as a gift for celebrations or as an investment.
Do you repair damaged jewellery?
Yes. We professionally clean and repair your jewellery – including heirlooms and older pieces.
Can I make an appointment for advice?
Gladly. Call us or message us on WhatsApp or by email – we take time for personal advice.
Can I sell gold without an appointment?
Yes. Come in during opening hours and we will test and weigh your gold on the spot. For larger amounts a quick call in advance helps so we can take our time.
How do I recognise real gold?
Hallmarks such as 585 or 916 are an indication but not proof. Only measurement is reliable: we test non-destructively by X-ray fluorescence. Free of charge and in a few minutes.
Do you also alter rings not bought from you?
Yes, we carry out resizing and repairs regardless of where a piece was bought. We quote a binding price once we have seen the piece.
Do you speak Turkish?
Yes. We advise in German, Turkish and English – in store, by phone and via WhatsApp.
How do I find my ring or bangle size?
The easiest way is for us to measure free of charge in store. To prepare at home we offer true-to-scale printable templates: one for
ring sizes from 47 to 76 and one for
bangle sizes from 54 to 76 millimetres inner diameter. The important thing is to print them at actual size.
What is the difference between 585 and 916?
The number gives the fine gold content in parts per thousand: 585 gold is 58.5 percent fine gold (14 carat), 916 is around 91.6 percent (22 carat). 916 has the richer, yellower tone and is customary in the Turkish tradition; 585 is harder and more suited to everyday wear.
